About UDDF Dive Viewer

What is UDDF Dive Viewer?

UDDF Dive Viewer is a modern, privacy-first web application for viewing and analyzing dive logs in the Universal Dive Data Format (UDDF). Built with modern web technologies, it provides a clean, intuitive interface for divers to explore their dive history, track equipment, and analyze dive sites.

Why UDDF Dive Viewer?

As a diver and software engineer, I am passionate about data and love keeping detailed records of my dives. Some of my dives are very complex, like deep rebreather dives with long decompressions. I used to download these dives into my divelog software, but often the details from the dive computer were not entirely visible. Sometimes, they were also lost during the import process from the dive computer to the divelog software.

I just wanted a quick, immediate way to download a dive and view it. This is why this project was born: to provide a fast, accessible, and online tool that puts you in control of your dive data.

Privacy First

UDDF Dive Viewer runs entirely in your browser using local storage. There are no uploads, no cloud storage, your UDDF files never leave your device. You maintain complete control over your data.
